🇺🇦🇷🇺 Russia strikes Ukrainian cities
Russia launched overnight missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and a dozen other Ukrainian regions, killing at least 25 civilians and wounding around 100, Ukrainian officials said.
A missile struck an apartment building in Pryluky in the Chernihiv region, where President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 19 people died, including five children.
Ukrainian intelligence had warned of a large attack in advance, but air defences could not fully repel it.
Kyiv is seeking more Patriot interceptor ammunition amid a global shortage linked to the Iran war.
Russia's Defence Ministry said its targets included missile and drone production facilities, ports and ships carrying military cargo.
