I Almost Threw Out My Keurig. It Wasn't Broken.

Every cup from my Keurig started tasting weak, flat, stale โ€” so I unplugged it and stuck it in a closet. Then I learned the dirty secret of grocery store K-Cups: by the time a pod reaches your kitchen, it's usually spent months going from factory to warehouse to truck to shelf. The flavor oils are long gone. Some brands even over-roast to hide it.

The fix wasn't a new machine. It was fresh pods from Angelino's, a family-owned L.A. roastery that roasts, packs, and ships within 3โ€“5 days โ€” straight to your door, from 39ยข a cup. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ House backs Russia sanctions

The US House passed a Russia sanctions bill by 262 votes to 159, sending it to US President Donald Trump for signature.

The legislation targets Russian officials, banks and the shadow fleet transporting Russian energy.

It would direct President Trump to impose tariffs of up to 100% on the five largest importers of Russian oil or natural gas.

An exemption would cover countries buying less than 15% of Russia's gas exports that have taken significant steps to reduce those imports.

Supporters say the tariffs would deter Chinese and Indian purchases, while critics warn they could hit US allies and raise prices for American consumers.
